Privacy Policy
BulkTranscripts is built to work without accounts, so we collect as little as the product needs to function — and nothing more.
What we collect
When you use the app we process the YouTube URLs you submit and store the transcripts we extract for you in your library so re-exports are free. To enforce the free allowance without requiring signup, we derive an anonymous identifier from a one-way hash of your public IP address; we do not store your raw IP with your activity. If you purchase credits, we store your license key and its credit balance. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not use tracking cookies. Your browser's local storage holds your device identifier and, if you buy credits, your license key — both stay on your device.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Your card details go directly to Dodo and never touch our servers. Dodo shares with us only what is needed to credit your license key.
Third-party services
We fetch publicly available caption data from YouTube on your behalf. Our infrastructure runs on Railway. Payment processing is handled by Dodo Payments. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy.
Retention and deletion
Extracted transcripts remain cached in the library so they can be re-exported without using another credit. You can delete individual videos, whole channels, or entire runs from the app at any time. To request removal of anything else, contact us and we will delete it.
