About
About BulkTranscripts
BulkTranscripts is an independent, one-person product that downloads every available transcript from a YouTube channel, playlist, or video in one job, and exposes the same engine to AI agents as a REST API, an MCP server, and an agent skill.
Who builds it
BulkTranscripts is built and run by @attenisalluneed, an independent developer, since July 2026. There is no company behind it, no investors, and no sales team: the person who answers support email is the person who wrote the code. The agent skill is open on GitHub.
Why it exists
Most transcript tools handle one video at a time. That is fine for a single clip and useless for an archive: a podcast back-catalogue, a lecture series, a competitor's channel, a playlist you want to feed into NotebookLM or a RAG pipeline. BulkTranscripts was built to do the whole channel in one job, with clean text (no caption clutter), timestamps kept where they help, and exports that AI tools can read directly.
How it is run
- No subscription. Credits are one-time packs and never expire. The first 30 transcripts are free with no card.
- No lock-in. Every transcript you extract can be exported in TXT, Markdown, SRT, VTT, CSV, JSON or a combined AI-ready file, as often as you like, free.
- Honest failures. Videos without captions are reported and never charged.
- Documented for machines. The API docs, OpenAPI spec, llms.txt and agent skill are all public.
