Terms of Service
Short version: pay only for successful extractions, use the service on public videos, and use what you download responsibly.
The service
BulkTranscripts extracts publicly available caption data from YouTube videos, channels, and playlists and exports it in various formats. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
Credits
Credits are one-time purchases and never expire. One credit is spent per successfully extracted transcript. Failed extractions are not charged, and re-exporting a transcript already in your library is free. Because the free tier lets you evaluate the service before buying, purchases are generally non-refundable once credits have been used; if something goes wrong, contact us and we will make it right.
Acceptable use
Use BulkTranscripts only on publicly accessible videos. You are responsible for how you use the transcripts you download, including compliance with YouTube's Terms of Service and any applicable copyright law. Transcripts of other people's content are for your personal research, study, and analysis — redistributing or republishing them as your own is not permitted.
Availability
Transcript availability depends on YouTube: videos without captions, private or removed videos, and region-restricted content may not be extractable. The service is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, though we work hard to keep it reliable.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
